3★ or higher characters can be upgraded to unlock new illustrations, improve their stats, and increase their level caps.
Charms and Gems required for upgrading can be obtained as rewards for completing shows, or from the Wish Piece Exchange.
To access upgrades, go to Characters > Training > Upgrade.
