High score rewards are earned by beating certain scores.
If your new high score is better than your last, but lower than the required score for a reward, you won't qualify for the high score reward.
The required score for the high score bonus is displayed on the final confirmation screen before starting a Challenge Show.
The high score reward can be obtained for each character.
