By using enhancement items such as Enhancement Magatama and Enhancers, you can increase a Fighter's class and status.
As the class increases, the color of the Fighter's name frame in the Fighters list will change from Green → Blue → Purple → Yellow.
By leveling up your Fighters, you can increase the level at which they can improve their Class.
